Landscape Lighting Applications

Remotely operating (and synchronizing) landscape lighting transformers
 How to do it..........

  1. Plug in a PAM01 (2 pin) or PAM02 (3 pin) Appliance Module inside your
    landscape lighting transformer.

  2. Place a Counter-top XPMT1 Mini-Timer in a convenient location inside the
    home and plug it into an electrical outlet.

  3. Set the clock on the Mini-Timer. Follow the included instructions and program the ON/OFF times for each zone of landscape lighting.

• To synchronize multiple transformers, (making all zones operate simultaneously), set the
Code Wheels on each Appliance Module to the same X10 address.
• Transformers set to the same code will trigger at exactly the same time.

Installation Options...
• If the lighting you are wanting to operate is plugged into an outlet, then you can install the PAOll Half-Split Receptacle and plug the transformer into the X10 Controlled half of the outlet

• If one or more of the landscape transformer (s) are operated by a wall switch, then replace existing wall switch with the XPS3 20 Amp Non-Dimming Wall Switch Set the Code Wheels and remotely operate it via X10 Commands.

• Various transformers may be manufactured without an internal outlet; in this situation, use the hard-wired XPFM Non-Dimming 15A Module inside the case of the transformer.

• Add transformer control to a wall switch position at or near the front or back doors. Install the XPT1 or XPT4 (1 Button or 4 button Controller) at any wall box having hot and neutral available.
The In-Wall Controllers transmit directly onto the electrical power line to manually operate the transformer (s).

• If you cannot get hot and neutral to the new location, then use the PHW04D Stick-on Wall Controller with dimming . It transmits commands via radio the PAT01 Base Transceiver plugged into an outlet.
The PAT01 places the signals on the AC power line to switch the installed Modules.
